Doug Tribull

Doug Tribull brings decades of experience in business leadership, military service, higher education, ministry, and community involvement to the Lighthouse Christian Academy Board.

A lifelong Marylander, Doug grew up near the Severn River and attended Severn School before earning his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University, where he also played on two national championship lacrosse teams. Following college, he served for more than four years as a U.S. Naval aviator, flying as a Radar Intercept Officer in the F-4B Phantom. He later earned an MBA from Loyola University Maryland and a Master of Liberal Arts from Johns Hopkins.

Doug spent more than 35 years in sales and sales management, working with companies including AT&T, IBM, Northrop Grumman, Gartner, and Siemens. Throughout his career, he developed extensive experience in leadership, relationship-building, organizational growth, and serving teams and customers well. He also teaches Sales Management at Salisbury University.

Doug’s faith became central to his life after returning to church in 2002. Since then, he has been deeply involved in ministry, including missions work, visitation ministry, and church leadership as both a deacon and an elder. He is particularly passionate about serving people who may be isolated or in need of encouragement and is involved in visitation ministry, supports the Baltimore Community Center, and volunteers with hospice in Centreville.

Doug and his wife, Jane, returned to the area in 2024 after several years in Berlin, Maryland, and were grateful to reconnect with their Safe Harbor community, where Doug currently serves as a Deacon.

Doug seeks to pattern his life after the Sermon on the Mount, approaching others with humility, dignity, and respect. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lighthouse Christian Academy community and to support a school committed to developing students who seek to serve the living and active God.
