Matt Martindale

Matt Martindale brings a diverse background in education, ministry, business leadership, and community service to the Lighthouse Christian Academy Board.
Matt began his career working with young people through youth ministry, education, camp ministry, and coaching. He served as a youth pastor and as a program director for SB2W camp before teaching middle and high school mathematics at Faith Christian School in Roanoke, Virginia, and The Blue Ridge School near Charlottesville, Virginia. During those years, he also coached varsity and junior varsity soccer. Matt later co-founded Soccer Nights, a nonprofit organization in the greater Boston area that continues to serve more than 1,000 children each summer through free soccer training, mentorship, and community engagement.
After earning his MBA, Matt transitioned into business leadership, holding several roles in logistics and transportation with Amazon. He served as General Manager of a large fulfillment center in Sparrows Point, Maryland, with approximately 5,000 employees, and later as Director of Transportation Planning for North America. Since leaving Amazon in 2021, Matt has worked as a wealth advisor at Keel Point, helping individuals and families navigate financial planning and investment decisions.
Matt holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University, a degree in Industrial Management from Grove City College, and a degree in Mathematics from IUP. His community service has included serving on the boards of the Community College of Baltimore County and the Young Life Eastern Division Advisory Board, as well as the Anne Arundel County Young Life Committee.
Matt continues to invest personally in the lives of young people by leading Young Life at Annapolis High School. He and his family attend Lighthouse Church in Glen Burnie. Outside of work and ministry, Matt enjoys playing soccer, skiing, and spending time with his wife and their four daughters, three of whom attend LCA.
Matt is grateful for the opportunity to serve the LCA community and to support the school’s mission of providing students with a Christ-centered education that shapes both their minds and their character.
