Ana Maria Garcia
Eighth Grade Spanish

Mrs. Garcia is a Dual Language certified teacher specializing in Language Arts and Social Studies. She holds a B.A. in History with focus in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is also Montessori certified.

Mrs. Garcia launched her career in a Montessori setting, establishing a teaching philosophy deeply rooted in honoring the uniqueness, dignity, and worth of every child.

As a native Spanish speaker born in Argentina and raised in Bolivia, she is passionate about bringing rich multicultural history and language learning to life to her students!

Mrs. Garcia strives to provide every student with the tools to develop academically, socially, and spiritually.

She has been teaching for the past 20 years. Mrs. Garcia has been subbing at LCA for the last 4 years and looks forward to teaching Spanish to 8th. Grade students this coming year.

She lives on Kent Island with her husband Frank and his very blessed to live close to her family and enjoy her grandchildren. She loves to swim specially with her grandkids and anything that has to do with water! Enjoys studying the Bible, reading, cooking and visiting with friends and family.
