Laura Harding
5th-8th Grade Math

Laura Harding is a graduate of Lock Haven University, where she played collegiate lacrosse. She brings 30 years of experience in education and coaching, having taught students from Pre-K through 8th grade in Anne Arundel and Queen Anne’s Counties since 1996. Most of her career was spent at Stevensville Middle School, where she taught regular, advanced, and math intervention courses for grades 6-8 in addition to Special Education. She also served as the school’s Math Specialist for 12 of her 21 years there, supporting teachers and helping strengthen mathematics instruction across the school.

In addition to her teaching career, Mrs. Harding has coached youth and high school field hockey and lacrosse for 30 years also in Anne Arundel and Queen Anne’s Counties since 1996. She is currently the head field hockey coach at Kent Island High School. As a retired Maryland public school teacher, she is excited to join our team this fall, teaching 5th-8th grade math and continuing her passion for helping students build confidence and succeed.

Mrs. Harding lives in Grasonville with her husband and their two dogs. They have four children - three are in college, one is happily married - and they recently celebrated becoming grandparents.
